1966, Hammonds B-B-Q has been serving mouth watering Bar-B-Q
to their guests. Owners and operators Larry and Judy Higgins
and their children Heather and Charlie, take pride in continuing
the family tradition of the Best B-B-Q served anywhere.
Set
in a casual, fun, family atmosphere, Hammond's B-B-Q offers
Bar-B-Q, and a wide variety of Side Dishes, Cobblers and Home-made
Pies, made entirely from scratch with a secret family recipe.
Past customers say that the Bar-B-Q is so tender that you
can cut it with a fork, Ribs are the best in Texas and the
deserts are worth stopping for.
The
large dining room, decorated with a Texas theme complete with
wood shavings on the floor, comfortably seats 180 people and
is available for private parties. Hammond's also offers outside
Catering services.
Recognized
by the Fort Worth Star telegram as "it's worth while
to visit Hammond's", experience first hand the delicious
food and wonderful staff at 1106 NE Big Bend Trail, across
from Kwik Kar, in Glen Rose. The Dining Room is open for Lunch
and Dinner Thursday through Saturday from 11am to 8pm and
for Lunch Sunday through Tuesday from 11am to 3pm. An All-You-Can-Eat
Lunch Buffet is served every Tuesday.
