MK Corral is recognized as the GlenRoseArea.com Golden Fork Award recipient because of its high quality food, menu variety, and fast and friendly service. MK Corral offers a casual country environment accented by photographs of early Glen Rose throughout the restaurant.

In August 1993, Mike Graves fulfilled a life-long dream to open a family oriented restaurant. Mike and his wife Karen, have enjoyed welcoming guests to the MK Corral ever since.

Open seven days a week for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner, MK Corral offers a wide selection of American Cuisine to satisfy everyone's taste. Selections of Hot & Cold Sandwiches, Chicken, Seafood, and Tex-Mex entrees are just a sample of the menu items available. House specialties are Catfish and Chicken Fried Steak.

The Chicken Fried Steak is hand-bread and cooked to order. The Catfish is fried with corn meal batter and has become so popular, that it is even available for Breakfast. Past customers have been quoted as saying "It was the best catfish that I've ever had." "Mickey's Special Sandwich", is also a popular selection, and the home-made onion rings "are to die for".

Another popular selection is the Butterfly Shrimp, cooked in a light corn meal batter to golden perfection. Daily Lunch and Dinner Specials, a Salad Bar, mouth-watering Rib-Eye Steaks and an extensive Children's Menu complete the huge selection for your dining experience. And to end a delicious meal, try a piece of pie topped with Cinnamon Ice Cream.

A Pub is also available for meeting and greeting. Both Satellite and Dish networks provide a wide selection for your viewing pleasure, and major sporting events are usually displayed on the huge 48" television. A Full-Bar, Video Games and good company compliment the comfortable Pub were everyone always feels welcome.

Past clientele includes representatives of the Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers Baseball and movie and television personalities.
